FRONTIER / PASSPORTS / VISA INFORMATION
Passports are required by all visitors to Gibraltar except EU nationals who are in possession of valid national identity card issued by an EU state. More information on the below link:

Crossing the border

Walking
If you choose to walk across the frontier into Gibraltar, please check everyone has their own valid passport / ID documentation (VISA if necessary) in hand to present to the customs / immigration both to the Spanish and the British authorities.
Once you have crossed into Gibraltar if you have booked a group tour you must walk approx 2 mins. cross the road at the first pelican traffic lights and locate your local tour bus inside the BUS PARKING which are visible as your crossing the road. (Behind the Bureau de Change.)

Vehicle
If you choose to cross the frontier by vehicle you must join the entry lanes on the right (sometimes there is a queue.) If you are visiting for a day trip we recommend you arrive as early as possible to avoid any delays you may incur at the Spanish side of the frontier. Please check everyone has their own valid passport / ID documentation (VISA if necessary) in hand to present to the customs / immigration both to the Spanish and the British authorities. If traveling by BUS the group may remain seated with there passports in there hand whilst the customs do the inspection of the vehicle.

We strongly recommend if the group is traveling with LUGGAGE that they will not be requiring in Gibraltar (day trip or circuit tour) to Park the bus on the Spanish side of the Frontier and walk across. Due to customs procedures and will heavily delay the group.
